PAW Service Unit Yahoo! Group

If you aren’t on the PAW SU Yahoo Group, send an email to: PAWSU-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Please include your name and troop number in the email.

Also, don’t forget to have the parents of your troop sign up for the Yahoo Group. When they sign up, have them provide their name, the troop number and that they are one of parents in your troop.

The PAW SU Yahoo Group will be used to notify everyone in the service unit of information, events and Council information. We would like to see everyone signed up and using it.

Forms that your troop or girls might need will be stored in the Yahoo Group under ‘File”. The folders will be labeled so that you can find information easily.

If we need to Poll the Service Unit about something – where to have an Event, what kind of Event, etc – we will be able to post the question and everyone may respond. The responses and voting will be posted under the ‘Poll Section’.

When posting a message to the Yahoo Group:

• Remember that the entire Yahoo Group will read your message.
   
• Posting questions to the Group – like where to go camping, what to take, etc is a great idea! You will have a wealth of information/suggestions at your fingertips. When someone posts a general inquiry, respond by posting your response to the Yahoo Group so that others will know that the original question has been answered.

If you need to respond to an email that someone posted, close the original email, open your email account and respond to that email. Remember to copy and paste or write down the email address of the person you need to send an email to.

Do not use the Yahoo Group for your personal business. This Yahoo Group is for Girl Scout business only.

Abuses on the Yahoo Group:

• First time – a warning will be emailed to you.
   
• Second time – you will be suspended from the Yahoo Group.
   
• Third time – you will be banned from the Yahoo Group.
   

If you have a complaint, please email the Service Unit Director and she will look into it. She does monitor the Yahoo Group on a daily basis.
