Service Unit Training

Calling all adults (not just Leaders) who need training in the PAW Service Unit. Check out what training classes are currently available with Council and Service Unit.

• Basic Volunteer Orientation–Introduction to Girl Scouting (online training course)
• Volunteer Essentials (online training course)
• Leadership Essentials (formerly Program Level Training)
• First-Aid Training
• CPR Training
• Outdoor Skills Training:
  • Outdoor / Overnight Consultant Course (OCC)
  • Camp Consultant Course (CCC)
  • Trip Consultant Course (TCC)
• Silver Award Training - Contact Silver Award Trainer to set up training for your troop
• Program Aide Training - Contact Program Aide Trainer to set up training for your troop

Registration

In order to register for a class, read the note beside the class on how to register.

• If it says register through Council - you will need to download the registration form for training and turn it in to Council. (English | Spanish )
• If it says register through church - call Denise at 251-2575 and register for the class.
• There are fees associated with some of the classes. You are expected to pay for the class when you register with Council. If registering through the church - bring the fee with you the night of the class.
• Note the location of the class. You will need to be at the right location to attend the class.
• Any adult within the PAW SU is invited to attend these classes.

General Information

• Babysitting is NOT provided during training sessions or events. Please make arrangements for childcare while you are attending training courses.
